SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed in regards to the superior amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to click here some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area more info every day. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
